NiceLabel 4.0.3 build 596 (December 5, 2005).
|
New service build of NiceLabel software is available. Technically this new build 596 does not provide any new functionality but you will benefit from more reliable and robust software.
If you have NiceLabel version 4.0.3 already installed, we recommend the upgrade to NiceLabel version 4.0.3 build 596.

NiceDrivers 4.0.34 and 4.0.35 are available for printer brands: Avery, CAB, Comtron, Datamax, Eltron, Intermec, SATO, TSC and Zebra (November 9, 2005).

New version of NiceDrivers is available for certain printer families. Major updates and improvements in new build of NiceDrivers are as follows:
- Improved RFID support.
- Better support for internal printer features (printer clock, date offset, etc.)
- Support for new printer models.
- Better support for off-line label printing with introduction of internal bar code SSCC18 for printers that support internal SSCC bar code. You can use SSCC18 and export the label to printer (Export to printer) or for SAP (Export to SAP).

NiceLabel version 4.0.3 is available (November 7, 2005).
|
New NiceLabel software is available. NiceLabel 4.0.3 adds many new features to an already robust bar code and RFID labeling software familiy. New features include, but are not limited to:
- Import variables from Oracle WMS and MSCA XML. Simplify label design for Oracle applications by importing variable field names directly from Oracle XML data.
- RFID update to enable custom EPC encoding schemes for thermal printer that support custom schemes natively.
- Multi-level sorting of database data.
- Object grouping feature.
- Enhanced bar code support for thermal printer Real Time clock (RTC).
- NiceForm can now acquire data from a serial port as an inline action to operator data entry. Acquire data from a weight scale or serial bar code scanner.
- NiceWatch: Log file control enables configuration of audit trail of label information. Minimizes the size of the log by only including needed information.

New version of NiceDrivers is available for certain printer families. Major updates and improvements in new build of NiceDrivers are as follows:
- Better support for memory cards.
- Improved RFID support.
- Corrected problems with the command 'Export to printer' when EAN.UCC 128 bar codes were used and when variables were used on the label.
- New printer models from different printer brands.
- Numerous enhancements and optimizations in the functionality of NiceDrivers.

NiceLabel version 4.0.1 is available (June 27, 2005).

New NiceLabel software is available. The new build provides a service pack of fixes for the problems discovered with the first relase of version 4.0, but also provides new functionality.
The major changes are:
- Update to NiceWatch in NiceLabel Suite editon with network licensing, where print engine wasn't properly activated.
- Fix for the important reported problems.
- Improvements in the code and optimization in the internal processes (faster startup of NiceLabel Pro and faster processing of triggers in NiceWatch).
- Automatic on-line product activation on the Internet.
- On-line acquire of the Pocket NiceLabel Software Key (comes free with the NiceLabel Suite edition).

NiceDrivers 4 are now available (April 11, 2005).
|
Major updates and improvments in new build of NiceDrivers are as follows:
- The new component Language Monitor was implemented in all NiceDrivers. It allows bi-directional communication with the NiceLabel software. Some information about the status of the print job is returned to NiceLabel.
- Custom commands can now be positioned on 4 places inside the print stream: 1. on page start, 2. on page start - just before the data, 3. on page end - just after the data, 4. on page end
- Custom installation files: Custom .DAT files can be used so you can update the default printer driver properties when you install the printed driver.
- Redesign of the user interface in the printed driver dialog boxes.
- New printer models from different printer brands.

New in NiceLabel 3.6.5 software:
- RFID dialog now supports standard EPC encoding types such as SGTIN-64, SSCC-64, SGLN-64, GRAI-64, GIAI-64, SGTIN-96, SSCC-96, SGLN-96, GRAI-96, GIAI-96, GID-96
- Graphics load optimized – Before optimization loading of large graphics might take minutes! Now the load procedure is optimized to a fraction of the time needed before.
- Multiple database connections -Optimization on number of database connections, when using OLE DB database access.
- NiceForm – Wildcard search! New filter operator is supported (CONTAINS) which can be used to search for record that contains value user specifies. For example if database has records, apple, pie, banana and filter value is P, then result will be records apple and pie, since banana doesn't contains P it stays hidden.
- Other minor updates!

New builds of NiceLabel 3.6.4 and NiceDrivers 3.8.05 (June 7, 2004).

New software builds of NiceLabel -The Professional labeling software- and NiceDrivers -True Windows thermal printer drivers- have been released to public. New versions continue the trend of providing reliable label design and printing tools with added new features following the requirements from the market.
New in NiceLabel 3.6.4 software:
- Complete RFID update with support for all major tag manufacturers and standards (TagIt, iCode, ePC , ISO15693 …) . Also, support for the RF Tag unique ID feature.
- Big performance improvements when using database data
- True graphics dithering is displayed in the print preview (when NiceDrivers 3.8 or higher are used)
- Bar codes added and updated (DUN 14, UPC Case Code, Micro QR, QR, InfoGlyph 2D)
- New version of the NiceLabel for Linux edition with updated support for all modern Linux distributions.

New NiceLabel product -- NiceLabel SDK -- is available for software publishers (February 3, 2004).
|
New Developer Program was designed to allow companies who publish
packaged software to embed robust label printing functions into their applications.
The Developer Program includes access to the NiceLabel SDK, a new integration edition of NiceLabel software.
NiceLabel SDK includes products such as NiceLabel Suite, NiceLabel Engine, Pocket NiceLabel and more, where NiceLabel Engine is an ActiveX integrator edition of the NiceLabel Pro software. It includes all printing functionality of the NiceLabel Pro edition and can be integrated to other Windows based applications through the ActiveX (OLE Automation) programming interface.
NiceLabel SDK is an affordable solution when printing from embedded applications is required. It provides an opportunity to software publishers who are looking for a way to reduce their label printing development costs and who want to add additional value to their products. NiceLabel SDK can develop labeling solutions for desktop, enterprise and mobile applications.
